manageable.
DESCRIPTION
Using the Bear Lake shuttle, this can be done as a one-way hike from Bear Lake to Bierstadt Lake and then continuing down to the shuttle
stop.  The first portion is through a forest all the way to the lake.  The real payoff is the view of the mountains across from you as you
continue on down to the trailhead.  The final section is also a colorful fall walk, as it descends through an aspen grove.  However, be
forewarned if you are subject to knee problems - it is a bit steep.
